Choral Union performing at the Cathedral of the Incarnation Downtown Nashville The department of music offers three programs of study in music which include Music Education, Music Liberal Arts (General), and Music Liberal Arts (Commercial). In addition, Trevecca Nazarene University offers degrees in Worship Arts and Music Business.
Trevecca is located in Nashville, Tn, often referred to as the "Third Coast" due to the presence of many publishing and record companies located in "Music City, USA." As a result, students have oppurtunities for internships within every aspect of the Music Industry and have oppurtunites to meet and work with some of the finest musicians in the country. Graduates of the division have gone on to have careers in music performance, worship leadership, public and private school education, private studio instruction, and various areas of the music industry.
