Located in room 108 of the Wakefield Fine Arts building, the Music Lab is equipped with 17 Macintosh I-Mac computer stations with Internet capabilities and 15 with midi keyboards and a Digidesign Mbox 2 at each station. A sampling of programs include: The Microsoft Office Suite; Finale; Garage Band; Practica Musica; Photo Shop; Pro Tools LE and I-Life.
Located on the ground floor of the Wakefield Fine Arts building, the recording studios houses two recording facilities equipped with both analogue and digital recording capabilities allowing music business majors to gain hands on experience through the use of an array of industry standard microphones and signal processing equipment.
Recording Facilities
Four isolating practice rooms are located on the second floor of Wakefield, room 206, one equipped with variable acoustics for the primary use of seniors preparing for senior recital.
