Dr. Renita Koehn
Soprano


Degrees Held:
  • B.A. in Music from Mount Vernon Nazarene University
  • M.M. in Vocal Performance from Morehead State University
  • D.M.A. in Vocal Performance from the University of Kentucky.

Teaching experience includes:
  • 8 years at Point Loma Nazarene University (San Diego, California)
  • 4 years at Belhaven College (Jackson, Mississippi).
  • Currently, she is the director of vocal studies, as well as, teaches private voice, vocal fundamentals, diction, vocal pedagogy, and is the director of Covenant Choir.
  • Dr. Koehn has been teaching at Trevecca since 2005.

Performance roles include:
  • Susannah in Floyd’s Susannah
  • Adina in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore
  • Pamina in Mozart’s The Magic Flute.
  • She also appears as soloist in numerous choral masterworks.

In addition, Dr. Koehn participates in a ministry with her husband called EvangelArtists.
