In his report to the Trevecca Board of Trustees on November 7, 2003, President Millard Reed noted the highlights of the past twelve years. The following accomplishments were included:
*Completely remodeled and upgraded all residence halls
*Wired all dorm rooms for computer access and installed
computer labs in the dorms
*Initiated a continuous meal plan
*Increased enrollment from 1386 to 1911
*Increased the total credit-hour production
*Adopted a new admission policy with minimum standards
*Earned reaffirmation of accreditation from SACS
Commission on Colleges
*Moved to Level-V status (doctorate-granting)
*Earned approval from Tennessee State Board of
Education in 1993, 1998, and 2003
*Increased University's equity position from $10.4 million to
$35.6 million
*Increased endowments from $2.52 million to $11.22
million
*Increased unfunded scholarships from $614,949 to
$3,454,713
*Purchased 14 properties
*Built a new library and converted the old library into a
home for the School of Education
*Increased budget support of Churches of the Nazarene by
nearly $1 million to $2,590,052 in 2003
*Increased percentage of church support from 80.4% to
87.8%
*Launched and completed "Celebrate the Century" campaign that raised $28.5 million
