On Thursday evening, November 20, 2003, the School of Business and the Division of Adult Studies held a dinner in honor of the first graduating class in the Master's of Science in Managment Program (MSM). The twenty-two members of this first MSM class and their guests celebrated their accomplishment at a dinner in the President's Dining Room.
The festivities included award presentations and speeches from two members of the class. The Director's Award, the highest award given to a student, was presented to Jim Purviance for his outstanding performance in the program. The students presented the Excellence in Teaching Award to Professor Jea Agee. Jocelyn Cordell and David Pollitt provided retrospectives on the class's experiences in the program.
Of the twenty-two persons who are graduating from the twenty-month MSM Program, approximately one-third plan to take advantage of Trevecca's special program that allows them to earn the MBA degree by taking three additional, advanced courses in quantitative areas.
The next MSM class will graduate in April 2004. For more information this program, contact 615-248-1529.
