Trevecca Nazarene University

Faculty development retreat planned

Trevecca's Faculty Development Committee is hosting the school's first-ever faculty development retreat. To be held February 20-21, 2004, at the Scarritt Bennet Retreat Center in Nashviile, the retreat is part of that committee's efforts to enhance and advance scholarship at Trevecca. Using the theme "Crossing Boundaries in Scholarship," the retreat sessions will help faculty members identify ways that they can collaborate across disciplines and promote scholarship. Special speaker for the event is Maxine Walker from Point Loma Nazarene University. Dr. Walker is the director of the highly successful Wesleyan Center for 21st Century Studies, a college professor/administrator, and a respected scholar in her field. This event is one of the many planned and hosted by the Faculty Development Committtee.
