Homecoming 2004 schedule announced

The schedule for Homecoming 2004 has been announced, and it will be a time for alumni and friends to reconnect, according to Nancy Dunlap, director of alumni services. With "Thanks for the Memories" as the theme, this year's homecoming, November 5-7, will be a special time for alumni to say good-bye to President Millard Reed, who will retire in June 2005.

The festivities begin on Friday at 10 A.M. with Founder's Day Chapel. Karen Dean Fry '68, assistant pastor of Lamb's Club Church of the Nazarene in Manhattan. Fry is an accomplished speaker and writer who has produced children's musicals in addition to her articles and books.

The annual Homecoming Parade, planned and directed by students, will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Friday and will travel through the main part of the campus.

On Saturday classes will hold reunions, and the annual alumni luncheon will be held.

The line-up of campus events will conclude on Saturday evening with the concert "An Evening of Musical Memories," which will include appearances by several surprise guest musicians.
