The Sturgis Trio will present a concert Tuesday, October 19, in
Wakefield Auditorium at 7:30 P.M. The trio is composed of Francis
Massinon (French horn), Anne Glass (piano), and Tom Sturgis (violin).
Massinon is a professor at Austin Peay State University and has played
with the Paducah Symphony Orchestra in Kentucky and the Jackson
Symphony Orchestra in Tennessee. Glass, who attended the Franz-Schubert
Institute in Baden, Austria, is professor of piano at Austin Peay State
University; she is the winner of many awards and is actively involved
with many music performance committees or groups. Sturgis has recently
obtained a bachelorís degree in music from Belmont University. She
currently performs with the Paducah Symphony Orchestra and the Jackson
Symphony Orchestra.
This concert, part of the Trevecca concert/recital
series for the 2004-2005 year, is free and open to the public. For more
