Student's MSM entrance application published

Robert Murray, MSM student and network manager at Kraft CPAs, can add "journal contributor" to his list of accomplishments.
When Robert Murray, a new student in the Master's in Management Program (MSM), wrote the essay that is required as part of the application process, he had no idea that it would be published; however, this fall he received word that his essay will appear in the November 26 edition of the Nashville Business Journal, a special edition that will be devoted to technology issues. 

Murray, a network manager for KraftCPAs in Nashville, wrote about unsolicited e-mail. He says, "I know this topic is of interest on a campus."  Evidently others found his writing interesting, and his colleagues recommended that the journal use his article.

"The Problem with Email," Murray's article, details the two principal ways that businesses handle unsolicited e-mails--measures taken on the front-end before the e-mails arrive and measures that can be taken after the e-mails arrive. The application essays must focus on a current business topic; they are used to assess an applicant's writing skills and ability to do graduate work.
