Fry, a 1968 graduate of Trevecca, currently serves as associate pastor at the Lamb's Church of the Nazarene in New York City, but she is also known as a writer and speaker. Among her published works are musicals for children's choirs, including "The Late Great Potentate" and "Amazing Grace." She has earned Dove Award nominations for her musicals. Additionally she has contributed articles to many different publications.

Fry, a native of Florida, served on the pastoral staff of First Church of the Nazarene. Known for her humor and for her insightful treatment of Scripture, she is a popular retreat speaker.

Founder's Day Chapel is held annually at the beginning of homecoming weekend. It is a time to remember the contributions of the Rev. J. O. McClurkan, the founder of Trevecca.
