Trevecca collaborates with Lipscomb to host conference

Trevecca will collaborate with Lipscomb University to host the annual communications meeting of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities. This three-day conference invites persons serving in communications roles at schools which are members of the Council to attend seminars about communications and meet other persons in similar positions.

Registrants for the event have the option to stay on campus where the meetings will be held. Guest speakers have been assigned to speak to the forty-six communications specialists, who represent thirty-four schools of higher education worldwide. Meetings will be held Thursday through Saturday, interspersed with visits to the classic sights and sounds of Nashville.

The Council of Christian Colleges and Universities was founded in 1976 with thirty-eight member schools. Since that time, the Council has grown to one hundred five members in North America, as well as seventy-one members in twenty-four other countries. Trevecca has been a member of the Council since 1980.
