The Lady Trojans basketball team has had a very successful season so far. They have enthused the crowds by consecutively winning sixteen games—an undefeated record. This unit of eight returning players and five new players is joining efforts to produce a quality basketball season.

    Ranked number four in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics), the Lady Trojans have produced a season of 1285 points and 631 rebounds, an average of 80.3 points per game and 39.4 rebounds per game. One major contributor to this season’s record is center Jackie Weaver, a senior from Nashville, Tennessee. She has been named player of the week three times and co-player of the week once by the TranSouth Athletic Conference.

    The Lady Trojans will compete against Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee on Thursday, January 12, at 6:00 P.M. Cumberland is ranked number ten in the NAIA and is also undefeated. Both schools will broadcast the game via radio and internet. This game is within driving distance, and it is important to the Lady Trojans to have as much Trevecca support as possible.
