Trevecca earns ìLeast student debtî ranking

The latest U.S. News and World Report rankings of “America’s Best Colleges 2006” included Trevecca in one of its top three listings. In the ranking “Least Debt [of graduates] for Master’s [Colleges/Universities] in the South,” Trevecca was second among the top three schools listed: Troy State University in  Alabama, with an average debt of $6,038 for its graduates; Trevecca with an average debt of $6,544 for its graduates; and Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina with an average debt of $6,921 for its graduates.

This listing indicates that efforts to make a Trevecca education more affordable are working, says Harold McCue ’56, vice president for university advancement. He points to the faithful support of the University’s donors and the churches of the Southeast Region as a reason why this ranking is possible.
