The event brought together 92 golfers from 8 states on the Trevecca Nazarene University region.  It was originally initiated in 1987 by former Trevecca professors Toby Williams and Bill Strickland to raise funds for scholarships awarded to children of Trevecca Alumni.

This year’s tournament was won by ‘91 alum John Jordan of Hermitage, TN.  He came away with a score of 146 and a prize of a $40 gift certificate to Nevada Bob’s golf store.

Greg Runyan, professor of business at Trevecca, is the current event director.  Next year’s tournament will mark the event’s 20th year and will take place May 24-25, 2007.
