Freshman Orientation

Freshman orientation 2006 kicks off Thursday, June 15 with a series of events and sessions designed to welcome 193 incoming freshman and their families.

An expected 454 guests total were expected for this weekend's orientation activities which are set to span Thursday, June 15 through Saturday, June 17.

Thursday, June 15 featured registration times followed by a welcoming message from University President Dan Boone, a coffeehouse social time for students, and a "High Hopes" seminar for parents.

Friday, June 16 features a series of seminars designed to orient students to campus life, an introduction to freshman "family groups," and a series of fun, entertaining events in the evening.

Saturday, June 17 wraps up the weekend with a seminar to prepare students for academic life, followed by a time set aside for registration to fall classes.

During their time at Trevecca, freshmen and their families will be making the residence halls their homes and will be eating meals in Jernigan Student Center.
