Annual President's Dinner held

Nearly 500 supporters, employees, and friends of Trevecca Nazarene University gathered at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Nashville for the Annual President’s Dinner held on Saturday, August 19.

The events of the evening highlighted the heritage of the University as well as its people.  Annual awards were presented to faculty member of the year, Jon Burch; administrator of the year, Jan Greathouse; and staff member of the year, Marcus Lackey.

The faculty member of the year award is presented to Jon Burch by Steve Pusey, vice president for academic affairs.

The administrator of the year award is presented to Jan Greathouse by Dan Boone, president of the University.




The staff member of the year award is presented to Marcus Lackey by Dan Boone, president of the University.

The night also featured a video presentation, entitled Looking Both Ways, featured retirees Larry Buess and Ann Fuqua, as well as a look back in time. Special music was provided by seventh grade student and harpist Anna Storey, whose parents are alumni.


Seventh grade student and harpist Anna Storey provided the special music for the event. Storey is the daughter of Joe and Pam Storey, who are alumni of the University.

University President Dan Boone spoke to the crowd, asking each one to “Seize the Day” and to support the University as they are able. The crowd also was led by faculty member Sam Green to sing the Trevecca Hymn and the Trevecca Alma Mater.

The evening concluded after much fellowship, fine dining, and inspiration.
