On Wednesday, November 15, 2006, University President Dan Boone joined with a Trevecca PR group to sponsor a Donelson Christian Academy (DCA) chapel service. DCA is a K – 12 private Christian school in Nashville, TN. DCA has a longstanding relationship with Trevecca and is a strong feeder school for incoming freshmen.

Refuge, a new PR group this year, was invited to provide worship music for DCA’s weekly chapel service in their gymnasium. Refuge is a worship band consisting of current Trevecca students. In addition, Boone spoke on being a neighbor to the people around you, and challenged the DCA students to be a neighbor within their own school. Trevecca was warmly received at DCA, and hopes to continue this as a tradition in the future.
