Openings for Trevecca Symphony Orchestra and Master Chorale

Trevecca's Division of Music announces openings for Trevecca Symphony Orchestra and Trevecca Master Chorale.

The Trevecca Symphony Orchestra, one of Nashville’s most prominent college/community instrumental ensembles in its 19th season, announces limited openings for all strings, beginning in January, with special need for competent basses. The all-volunteer 65-piece TSO performs seven concerts during its season including chamber, classical, choral, and pops. Among featured composers this semester are Telemann, Prokofieff, Dubois, Durufle and others. The Trevecca Symphony Orchestra is open by audition or approval for capable and experienced volunteer orchestral musicians. To inquire about TSO or to schedule an audition, contact the artistic director, Dr. Timothy Cierpke, at 248-1294.

The Trevecca Master Chorale announces auditions for limited openings for the second semester of its 9th season. Focusing on quality sacred and secular literature, the Master Chorale is seeking capable, motivated singers who display good musicianship, a compatible voice, and capable reading skills. The Chorale performs a minimum of three concerts through April and will feature a wide variety of composers in its challenging repertoire. For further information and to arrange an audition, interested singers should contact the director, Dr. Timothy Cierpke, at 248-1294. Rehearsals begin in early January.
