The Trevecca Symphony Orchestra, one of Nashville’s most prominent college/community instrumental ensembles in its 19th season, announces limited openings for all strings, beginning in January, with special need for competent basses. The all-volunteer 65-piece TSO performs seven concerts during its season including chamber, classical, choral, and pops. Among featured composers this semester are Telemann, Prokofieff, Dubois, Durufle and others. The Trevecca Symphony Orchestra is open by audition or approval for capable and experienced volunteer orchestral musicians. The Trevecca Master Chorale announces auditions for limited openings for the second semester of its 9th season. Focusing on quality sacred and secular literature, the Master Chorale is seeking capable, motivated singers who display good musicianship, a compatible voice, and capable reading skills. The Chorale performs a minimum of three concerts through April and will feature a wide variety of composers in its challenging repertoire.
