Trevecca basketball made local news today in The City Paper with an online write-up concerning the lady Trojans's current number one ranking in the TranSouth Conference standings and a poll result naming Trevecca's rivalry with Cumberland University as the best in Nashville.

After a 90-77 victory over eighth-ranked archrival Cumberland on Saturday, January 13, the Trevecca women’s basketball team now leads in the TranSouth Conference standings. The web article is available here.

Trevecca's rivalry with Cumberland University was the number one vote earner this past weekend in a poll asking "What is the Nashville area's best college basketball rivalry?" The poll was presented in the Friday, January 12 edition of The City Paper.
