Trevecca Nazarene University

Treveccans in Africa

Two Trevecca employees are extending their services in Africa to further Nazarene international education.

Provost Steve Pusey is in Africa (Jan. 18-Feb. 10) serving on a five-member quality review team for the Nazarene International Board of Education. The team is conducting institutional reviews and providing consultation to six Nazarene higher education institutions and to regional pastoral training extension programs. These include Africa Nazarene University in Nairobi, Kenya; Nazarene Bible Colleges in South Africa, Mozambique, and Swaziland; and teacher education and nursing institutions in Swaziland. Pusey has been working with these institutions in various ways during the past five years.

Mary Ann Meiners, professor of economics, is using her sabbatical to teach at Africa Nazarene University during the spring semester. She is teaching one undergraduate and one graduate course in their business degree program. She will return in May.
