Trevecca Nazarene University

More than 2,000 teenagers and their parents will make their way to Trevecca this week for the annual TNT at TNU, April 12-14.

Top Nazarene Talent, or TNT, was established in 1986 as a regional talent competition for youth from the southeast. Its purpose is to give young people from across the southeast USA an opportunity to develop and devote their talents, abilities and gifts to be used for Jesus Christ. Competitions are held in the areas of individual and team sports, vocal and instrumental music, speech and drama, art, writing, math and business, and quizzing.

The weekend will begin with a dinner and an opening celebration at the Grand Ole Opry House Thursday, April 12, at 7:00 P.M. Competitions will be held all day Friday, April 13, and Saturday, April 14, with the awards ceremony closing the event Saturday night. The theme for 2007 is "Ignite."
