Trevecca will host the Women in Ministry Network inaugural event, the “You Are Called” conference, April 26-28, 2007.

This conference, which is designed for women who have been called to vocational ministry, will bring women from across the Southeast Region to Trevecca for a time of enrichment, encouragement, and fellowship.

The weekend will begin Thursday, April 26 with registration from 5:30-6:30 and a opening worship service at 7:00 P.M. The keynote speaker for the conference is Dr. Jossie Owens, who currently serves as the District Superintendent for the New England District Church of the Nazarene. Other special guest speakers include Dr. Nina Gunter, Church of the Nazarene General Superintendent; Rev. Carla Sunberg, USA/ Canada Representative for Women Clergy; and Dr. Dan Boone, Trevecca Nazarene University President. Musical guests will include the trio Sequel and the Two Roads Band. The event will feature services of worship as well as seminar sessions for participants. The event will close with a worship service on Saturday, April 28 beginning at 9:00 A.M.

The cost for the conference is $125, which includes 5 meals, charter membership to WIMN and our e-newsletter. The cost for students is $30.
