Perry was one of two new players added to the team this season, and was selected to start in the team’s first game against the Central Oregon Hotshots, held Sunday May 20.
A native of Aurora, Colo., Perry was a key player for the Trojans during his three-year career and led the team in scoring his senior year. Perry scored 1,201 points in his career and played for back-to-back conference championship teams. The team advanced to the NAIA Sweet 16 in his junior and senior season.
Perry started all 31 games his senior year and lead the team with 17.9 points per game. He shot 48.6% from the field, 40.7% from three-point range, and 79% from the foul line. Perry was second on the team in steals and averaged 3.3 rebounds per game.
