Collins, who was an honorable mention All-American his senior year at Trevecca, recently completed his first year at the helm of the Trojan program. Collins led the program to a record fourth consecutive 40-win season with a 44-18-1 record and claimed the program's second regular season title in three years. The Trojans were ranked in the NAIA Top 10 nearly the entire season and peaked at No. 4, another school record.
Collins coached two all-American's, one NAIA scholar-athlete, the conference and region player of the year, five player made all-region, nine made all-conference, and six conference scholar-athletes. The team set numerous team and individual records.
Previously, Collins was an assistant coach at Trevecca for the previous four years under then head coach Jeff Forehand.
