Trevecca Nazarene University

2007 Summer Orientation

Approximately 450 soon-to-be students and their parents came to campus for Freshman Summer Orientation and Pre-registration Thursday, June 14 through Saturday, June 16.

The weekend featured “Get Out There and Meet Somebody” events held in different areas of campus, an introduction to each students’ family group which will continue to meet throughout the fall semester, various academic and advising seminars for both students and parents, and a cruise on the Music City Queen paddle-wheel riverboat.

New to this year’s orientation was "Trevecca Inside Out," an event which was designed to introduce freshmen and their family members to various academic and administrative offices from around the campus. The event was held in the Convocation Center of the Boone Business Building, the campus’s newest facility. An online photo album of this event is located here.
