Trevecca finishes second-place in TranSouth All-Sports Trophy competition and Trevecca softball players are named Louisville Slugger NFCA All-Americans.
athletic teams have combined to finish second in the TranSouth Athletic Conference All-Sports Trophy competition for the third consecutive season. This trophy is presented to the athletic department with the highest average based on their team's finish in the regular season of each of the league's 13 sports. Trevecca Nazarene University
Trevecca Nazarene boasted three titles on the year (baseball, softball, and women's golf) and the Trojans also posted a runner-up finish in women's basketball and a third place finish in volleyball.
Union, the first-place winner, led the way with a 6.50 point system average while Trevecca was second with a 6.11 average.
Trevecca's title-winning softball team recently garnered two more awards as the National Fast-Pitch Coaches Association named junior Brittiany Johnson and senior Jennifer Perkins to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA NAIA All-Americans team.
