Meeting the needs of students is a primary value for all academic programs at Trevecca, and that value was important in the decision for Trevecca to offer the MBA Program at Motlow State Community College (MSCC) in Tullahoma, Tennessee.
When Marylou Apple, president of Motlow, requested that Trevecca's School of Business consider offering the MBA at Motlow, the University began the process of assessing that option. Doing so seemed to be a natural outcome since for six years Trevecca has offered its degree-completion program, the Management and Human Relations Program (MHR), on the Motlow campus. During those six years, 132 students have graduated from that program.
Because many MHR students come from business careers, the MBA degree is often their next educational pursuit, and persons in the Tullahoma area had expressed interest in the MBA Program. Trevecca administrators note that they are very pleased with the interest and Dr. Apple's invitation for Trevecca to expand its offerings on the campus of MSCC.
Classes in the MBA Program will begin in January 2008. For more information about this program, contact Trevecca's site contact at MSCC, Julie Rigsby, at firstname.lastname@example.org. More information can also be found at http://www.mscc.edu/.
