Trevecca Nazarene University

New school year begins with President's Dinner

On Saturday, August 18, the University community will convene for the annual President's Dinner, the kick-off event for the new school year.

University employees, trustees, and friends will gather in the convocation center of the Boone Business Building on Saturday, August 18, for dinner before students arrive for the fall semester. At that event awards will be presented to the staff person of the year, the faculty member of the year, and the administrator of the year. New faculty members and new employees will be introduced. President Dan Boone will speak, communicating his vision for Trevecca's future.

On Monday following this event, the University community will begin meetings preparatory for the start of the new school year. Freshmen will move into their dorms on Friday and register for classes on Saturday. Upperclassmen return during the weekend and register on Monday. Classes begin on Tuesday, and Trevecca will be into its 107th year of classes.
