Thank-you event for public servants
On Wednesday, August 15, President Boone hosted a luncheon in honor of members of the Metro Nashville Police Department and their personal service to make Nashville a safer city. Department leaders and precinct commanders were invited to the event, held in the President's Dining Room.
Trevecca has long known that its campus is a safer place because of the attention given it by members of the police department. Members of the force frequently drive through the campus, providing a visible presence to the campus community. This event was a way to say "thank you" for the vigilance of the department.
