Opening Chapel 2007-2008

In conjunction with the 2007-2008 chapel theme "Living in the Neighborhood," University President Dan Boone spoke Tuesday - for the first chapel of the new year - on the concept of what it means to be a believer in their neighborhood.

Boone spoke of the childhood television figure, Mr. Rogers and the Christlike impact he had on the world. Fred Rogers was attributed as having had the ability to turn a zip code into a neighborhood. Boone challenged the Trevecca students and community to also live with this mentality about the neighborhood surrounding Trevecca.
