Betty Ragsdale dies

Betty Ragsdale, a longtime supporter of Trevecca and its athletic programs, passed away today at 11:22 A.M. She and her husband Dwight Ragsdale have supported Trevecca athletics for many years and are the founders of the Trojans Boosters Endowment that continues to raise thousands of dollars for deserving Trevecca athletes each year. Betty has endeared herself to many Trevecca athletes and has always been admired for her loving smile and affirming hugs.

Message from husband Dwight Ragsdale --

"It is with a sad heart that I inform you that Betty, my beloved wife of 51 years, passed away at 11:22 A.M. today, September 7, 2007.

There will be visitation from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, September 9, 2007 and 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 10, 2007 at Spann Funeral Home 1961 Highway 48 North, Dickson, TN 446-1123.

The Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. at the Spann Funeral with burial afterwards in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring to do so may make a memorial to the TNU Betty Ragsdale Scholarship Fund. Send to me at my address below."
