Alumnus Lindsay Haywood Huggins ’05 won the National Quartet Convention’s (NQC) solo talent competition, which was part of the event held September 10-15, 2007.
Each year, NQC holds a talent contest for both solo and group divisions. Huggins’s win gave her the opportunity to sing Saturday night for a “special feature appearance” on the mainstage of the event held at the KentuckyFair & ExpoCenter in Louisville, Ky.
Her prize package also includes studio recording time, radio single release, and full-color packaged CD’s provided by Son Sound Music Group. She’ll also be featured in a half page ad in the southern gospel publication Singing News Magazine.
