Baseball team involved in community outreach
Coach Chris Collins led the members of the team in painting rooms in a warehouse that will soon house City Mission Ministries. The warehouse, located on Polk Avenue just behind campus, will house the non-profit organization that is new to Nashville. Mike Edwards, CEO of the organization, also has begun similar ministries in southern California.
Collins plans several activities of this type each year, encouraging his players to give back and be involved in their community.
