Students elect new president of student government

Senior Danielle Queener, a psychology major from Spring Hill, Tenn., has been elected president of the Student Government Association following the resignation of the former president. Queener has been active in Student Government throughout her college career, serving as vice president until her election to the presidency, and as president of the junior class last year.
Regularly named to the Dean's List, Queener also works as a student helper in the Office of Student Development. She has completed an internship at Woodmont Hills Counseling Center, and she was a winner in last spring's Student Research Symposium.

She is a graduate of Spring Hills High School, and following her graduation from Trevecca next May, she plans to begin graduate school to prepare for a career in the child psychology field. Her parents are Dan and Darlene Queener of Spring Hill.

An election will be held to fill the vice president's position that Queener vacated when she was elected president.
