Former Trevecca baseball star shines

Former Trojan player Brad Coon now plays for the Salt Lake Bees of the Pacific Coast League.

Former Trojan baseball player Brad Coon is having a successful year as a catalyst for the winningest team in minor league baseball and his story is featured in the Monday, May 5, issue of the Tennessean.

In the article, current head coach Chris Collins recalls Coon's impact on the Trevecca baseball program. "Brad was the kid that put us over the edge and helped us go from a non-contender for any type of championship to a Top 25 national program. He is the single reason for that. Everything we were able to do after that, he set the table for us," said Collins.
