Mission Encounter brings 150 youths to serve in Nashville

Mission Encounter, a group that organizes student mission trips, brought more than 150 youths to Trevecca’s campus July 27-August 2.

The group used Trevecca as home base, eating meals in Apple Dining Hall and sleeping in dorms. The group spent their days serving meals to the homeless, sorting clothes at local shelters, preparing food boxes for needy families, painting and light maintenance at local missions, worship services for the homeless, landscaping, and cleaning. They will provided community and church services such as a vacation bible school for neighborhood kids, cleaning and repairing local schools, sports camps, painting neighborhood homes, and community cleanup.
