Trevecca Symphony Orchestra hosted Red, White, and Pops, An evening of American favorites, on September 11, with honor and remembrance.

It was the first time the event had been held on 9/11, although the TSO has a long-standing tradition of performing a fall concert under the stars on the Trevecca campus quad. The crowd that came with blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic dinners was the largest ever to attend the fall TSO event.

In addition to a musical program consisting of Americana music and patriotic tunes, the evening also featured local WKRN Channel 2 News anchor John Dwyer as narrator (see image below).
