The latest print in the Spirit of Nashville Collection, a print designed specifically for TreveccaNazareneUniversity by award-winning artist Joel Anderson, was unveiled Friday, Nov. 7, during Trevecca’s homecoming events.
Trevecca’s print, a depiction of the Trojan athletics mascot against the skyline of Nashville, will join more than 60 works of art in the series that celebrates the history and charm of MusicCity.
Anderson, owner of Anderson Design Group in Nashville, Tenn., is the creator of the series which is inspired by the golden age of poster art, a glorious period of illustration and designed that spanned the late 1800s to the mid-1900s.
The works in the series have been exhibited in galleries, inducted into the TennesseeState archives, and celebrated by both the mayor of Nashville and the governor of Tennessee.
Trevecca’s print is available in the University bookstore and wherever Spirit of Nashville prints are sold.
