Trojans named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

The 2008 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes have been announced with Trevecca's Parker Hughes, Brittany Argabright, Lindsey Zurlinden, and Kelly Huff receiving the prestigious honor. Hughes, a junior academically, is a men’s soccer player from Clarksville, Tenn.; Argabright is a women’s soccer player from Vinton, Va.; Zurlinden is a women’s soccer player from Weaverville, N.C.; and Huff is a senior volleyball player from Chesterfield, Mo.

 

In order to be a recipient of the NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete award, one must fulfill these requirements: the recipient must be a junior or above in academic standing; has a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) at the time of nomination at the nominating institution; has been certified as eligible.
