Zobrist spoke about his life in professional baseball, his experiences at the 2008 World Series, and his Christian worldview. Zobrist, a 6-3 shortstop from Eureka, Ill., outfielder, hit .253 this season with 32 runs scored, 10 doubles, two triples, 12 home runs and 30 RBI in 62 games. The former draft pick of the Houston Astros played his college baseball at Olivet Nazarene University and Dallas Baptist University. Zobrist and his wife, Christian Singer Julianna Zobrist, are expecting their first child later this month. The Franklin, Tenn. couple is expecting a son.
