New art minor offered; dean of School of Arts and Sciences named
Welch, a ’81, Ed.D. ‘05 alumna, has been a member of the Department of Communication Studies since 1988. Prior to her being named dean, she served as chair of the Division of Communication, Language, and Literature.
Trevecca offers these programs in response to interest expressed by current and prospective students; as support for existing programs such as graphic arts & dramatic arts and the proposed Center for Worship Arts program; and as a means of promoting Christian arts. The four existing art courses are drawing healthy enrollments each semester.
