Trevecca celebrates the last home basketball games of the season

Trevecca celebrated the last home basketball games of the 2008-2009 season on Thursday, Feb. 26, with a number of events including senior night, a Trojan Town party, PINK ZONE night, and a time of honoring student athletes.

Five senior basketball players were honored including Jennifer Bognar, Casey Attebery, De’Jon Everson, Brian Oduor, and Christopher Harris.

 

A total of 10 youth groups (a total of 160 people) came as part of the Office of Admissions’s Trojan Town event. The groups attending received free pizza and snacks, as well as a free t-shirt. Groups included Clarksville Grace Church of the Nazarene, Erin Church of the Nazarene, Metro Nashville/Apollo Middle School - girls basketball team, Huntsville (Alabama) Church of the Nazarene, Paragon Mills Church of Christ, Grace Church (Laverne, TN), Priest Lake Christian Fellowship, Y-CAP of the YMCA, Faith Community Church (Ashland City), Whispering Hills, Donelson Cumberland Presbyterian, and Bell Road Church of the Nazarene.

 

Cancer survivors were honored as part of PINK ZONE night. Some of those in attendance included Todd Welch, Dwight Ragsdale, Ruth Kinnersley, Michael Johnson, Alice Patterson, and Mary Lee Fielder.

 

In addition, Trevecca also gave thanks for the game staff and noted the years of service by the “Flock of Stegalls,” who along with Roger Costa have provided statistics for many years.
