At a pizza party attended by approximately 500 high school teens following the Nashville Predators’ hockey game on March 28, Trevecca announced the Middle-Tennessee winner of the MORE THAN a Youth Group Contest in the division for churches of other denominations. The $2,500 1st prize was presented to the youth group from Harpeth Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee, and the 2nd prize of $1,000 went to St. Philip Catholic Church, in Franklin, Tennessee. More than 22,000 votes were cast.

With another contest planned for next year, Tony Stogsdill, director of marketing, encourages all youth groups to begin thinking about ways to present their mission experiences next year.
The March 28th Predators’ game was the Fellowship Night Finale, making it the 7th Predators game that Trevecca sponsored during the 2008-2009 season. Trevecca’s PR group Refuge during the finale event. Refuge performed 2 sets of music to the crowd of 17,131 persons.
For the 7-game Fellowship Night Series, the Predators welcomed 103,081 fans (14,725/game) with the 3/28 Fellowship Night Finale leading the way with a sellout crowd of 17,113. Overall group numbers reached 2,050 individuals representing 78 churches. Again, the finale lead the way with 788 tickets sold specifically for Fellowship Night.
