The bios of each speaker are listed below.
Sonia Harvat is the Public Information Officer for Metro Water Services. She is a Nashville native and received her degree in Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to becoming the PIO for Metro Water Services, she was an Environmental Compliance Officer in the Stormwater Division giving her years of hands on experience dealing with environmental issues.
Reggie Miller joined the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy in December 2008 as the TN Campus Coordinator working out of Murfreesboro, TN. His responsibilities include organizing students to support the expansion of clean energy through TVA’s Green Power Switch program, and helping students collaborate with their administrations to bring energy efficiency and onsite generation to campuses. Also, he sits on the committee that oversees MTSU’s clean energy endeavors.
Sherry Sloan has worked for Metro Public Works for 8 years concentrating on recycling and waste reduction education. She is a Nashville native who has been very concerned about these issues for over 3 decades.
