Dan Boone re-elected for 4-year term
Highlights of Trevecca’s accomplishments during Boone’s first four years include the following:
- Update of the University’s strategic and master campus plans
- Renovation of a warehouse space into the Boone Business Building (convocation center, snack shop, and home of the Trevecca School of Business)
- Development and implementation of the Center for Leadership, Calling, and Service (a program for helping students find their life’s calling in order to match their talents/gifts with a career path that allows them to use their innate skills/gifts)
- Establishment of two multi-disciplinary programs which are the J. V. Morsch Center for Social Justice and the Center for Worship Arts
- Renovations of the Bud Robinson Building into a home for the Center for Leadership, Calling, and Service
- The addition of two more degree-completion programs for adult learners—Criminal Justice and Information Technology
- Continued increases in enrollment and undergraduate retention rates
- Development of a new “brand” platform with accompanying implementation throughout the University
- And improvements in existing programs
