The golfers, made up of alumni and friends of the University, came for two days of golf May 21-22 at the state park’s course in Chapel Hill, Tenn.

Golfers participated from as far away as Ohio, Texas, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi and Georgia. Several foursomes were family groups such as fathers and sons, cousins and brothers. More than $2,000 was raised for the Alumni Endowed Scholarship for children of alumni.

Chris Cook was the over-all winner for the third time with a 2-day score of 147. Second place in the open was Carter Griggs with a 2-day score of 150. First place in the senior division was John Stark and first place in for the super seniors was Bill Strickland.

Also, Trevecca took donations of used golf clubs for First Tee, an organization that supports young golfers.
