Trevecca Nazarene University

More than 500 on campus for New Student Summer Orientation

One-hundred ninety-five new students and their families came to Trevecca June 18-20 for New Student Summer Orientation. With parents, guardians, and spouses, this number of campus visitors was just over 500.

New students who have been admitted or fully accepted for admission to Trevecca were invited to attend. Those who attended were able to

  • meet their faculty advisor
  • pre-register for their fall classes
  • select their residence hall, room, and roommate
  • attend a Trevecca Inside/ Out event which highlighted each department and University organization
  • attend sessions with their peers, including an afternoon bus tour of Nashville

As part of the Trevecca Inside/ Out event, the Office of External Relations sponsored a "It's my turn to make history!" photo booth. The booth was designed to help students feel connected to the history of the University and to encourage them to actively participate in creating their own histories.
