Award-winning media guides

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) recognized five products from the Trevecca Nazarene University athletic department during the Clarence “Ike” Pearson Awards Luncheon at the annual NAIA-SIDA (Sports Information Directors Association) Conference on June 20, 2009 in San Antonio, Texas.

For the fourth year in a row Trevecca’s athletic website was ranked in the top six sites of the nearly 300 NAIA schools. Trevecca’s men’s golf media guide cover received the “Best of the NAIA” Award for the second year in a row. In addition, Trevecca’s athletic publications garnered a top-three and two top-ten finishes. The men’s basketball media guide was ranked third best, and the women’s basketball and softball guides were eighth overall.

Since entering its first NAIA-SIDA contest in 1999, Trevecca has achieved the following record for its sports publications—22 top-five finishes, 38 top-ten finishes, six “best cover” awards, and a runner-up “best cover” award.
