Childrenís group shares with Trevecca students
CAP, an after-school program in Gallitin, gives opportunities for kids to strengthen reading skills and opens their eyes to career possibilities.
As the children read, explaining how God knows what life is like where we live, their passion and confidence proved to be an inspiration to the gathered Trevecca students.
The performance was coordinated by Tammy Bennett, a freshman student experience LEAP Group leader, and CAP volunteer Jean Roberson. The student LEAP Group is part of the University’s new initiative run by the Center for Leadership, Calling, and Service.
