Graduate psychology students win awards
Each year the TAMFT invites MFT graduate students to enter professional posters describing research they are pursuing.
At the February TAMFT conference, Alex Furches (Trevecca) took first place in 2010 Student Poster Competition. He was awarded $500 by Terry Shapiro of Rosecrance Health Network, an Acer Laptop Computer by John Stenzel of Bridge to Recovery, and a Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University Course Kit.
Second and third place winners were Rachael Henry and Janet Velazquez, respectively. They also won a new computer and the Financial Peace Course kit.
“The Graduate Psychology Program is proud of all of their outstanding students who entered the competition. They represented us well,” said Peter Wilson, director of the Department of Graduate Psychology.
